Maison Note
Beauty x The Beast is built around the contrast between a refined floral opening, an animalic heart and a deep oud foundation.
Magnolia and royal osmanthus introduce luminosity and a subtle leathery nuance. Himalayan deer musk gives the composition depth and warmth, softened by vanilla and darkened by tobacco. Warm ambergris brings a mineral, skin-like quality, while Oud Kinam and Oud Kalakasi anchor the perfume with their dense, resinous character.
Despite the richness of its materials, the composition remains controlled and balanced, allowing the floral, animalic and woody facets to retain their individual character.
Inspiration
A quiet ballroom after midnight. The candles have almost disappeared, but their warmth remains on the polished wood. Smoke lingers in the air like a secret not yet spoken. Everything feels still, elegant and slightly dangerous.
Beauty appears first: luminous, composed, almost untouchable. Then, slowly, the beast reveals itself. Not wild, but deeply human. Powerful, restrained and closer than expected.
