Everest Beast is our interpretation of musk al ghazal, built around genuine deer musk and composed with Mysore sandalwood and amber.
It presents the highest concentration of musk al ghazal in the Around the Musk collection.
The opening is intense and distinctly animalic, with amber bringing warmth around the deer musk. Leathery facets appear through the heart, adding depth to its raw character.
As the perfume develops, Mysore sandalwood brings greater smoothness and balance. The musk gradually becomes sweeter on the skin, while a bitter dark chocolate facet emerges in the drydown.
Everest Beast takes its name from the highest summit on Earth.
In the Himalayan landscape surrounding Everest, the musk deer belongs to the mountains, inhabiting the forests and alpine terrain below the great peaks.
This connection between kasturi and the Himalayas became the starting point for Everest Beast.
The ascent leads through cold air and exposed stone. Higher still, sound recedes and the horizon opens, until rock, wind and open sky remain.
Everest Beast draws from this world: the elusive musk deer, the altitude of its habitat, and the fascination of the mountain rising above it.
