A shimmering summer fragrance
I'm really surprised at the treasures you can always discover at Maison Anthony Marmin. For me this one is a real blast for the summer. The silage is already quite good for a perfume oil. The start is reminiscent of a high-quality perfume as one can imagine wearing it in hot countries in Asia or the Orient. A sweetish, fresh but very subtle mint scent welcomes the nose, later a spicy, slightly smoky note comes through. I could notice any slightly annoying scent known to me when I smelled close to the skin. From a distance I couldn't see it. Maybe it was the prelude to the great forest smell that developed later. Now I felt like I was in the spruce forest, what a nice surprise. But the end was even nicer: a scent like on a colorful flower meadow. Most perfumes smell stale to me here. I am looking for such dazzling scents.
Flowery Musky and warm
Such a beautiful fragrance, the sweetnes of the flowery notes and the musky ambery notes that make it warmer and the Woody notes that maken it more nature. I wear these fragrances on regulary days and also on special occasions. It is a very affordable fragrance so I would recommend these one for all people.
An ethereal, sweet fragrance for everyone
I would never expect a fragrance like this at this price point. Sweet dry wood, light musk, very slightly spicy to me. There is a general floral note and subtle mint quality (probably where the spice is from). Although very sweet, I think this would suit anyone. The fragrance is a 9/10, the only let down being that it doesn’t last too long on the skin. But for this price there can be no complaints. If AKAF ever made a longer lasting version some how, it would become my all time favourite perfume
I bought this attar from local distributor without checking the sample. When I opened the bottle I was fearful and expecting some cheap white musk which smells like cheap soap. But I was shocked at the smell and quality. It's N extremely complex attar. In this price tag very few options are available. Only one thing was not according to my taste and that was super sillage. This is going to fill your room air within no time. So only a drop of it is needed and surely you are not going to finish this bottle in year.
Another thing, this attars smells fantastic good in hot weather. As in my country during summer temperature reaches 47 degree celcius. This attars smells very very good in extreme hot weather. So recommended for countries were weather is hot.
This is right now my best attar( in fresh scent catogery) in my collection. Hope I smell some attar made by Abdul Karim brother, which is more complex and fresh.
Beautiful blend of notes, mix so well to make a sweet but refined scent. sharper notes suspended above the floral honey. Fresh but warm too, so an all year wear. Like a chic french floral musk based product simultaneously oriental too. Fine silk comes too mind.
From a gentleman's perspective I love this I'll wear it and I think its for women too.
Aptly named, list of notes are present, it is a sensory journey to the past. Often imitated but never mastered quite so well. Quite possibly due to smelling authentic rather than simulated.
Imperial Asiatic Musk by AKAF is a really well blended fragrance.
It's glorious on the skin after it opens up.
The floral notes are mixed with the wood in the heart quite nicely, and a bit of amber smooths everything out, perfectly.
It is a fresh, woody and uplifting scent and I believe, both men and women can wear this.
Projection and sillage is great.
I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars for this one, but I'll lean toward 5 because it's such a complex scent and very enjoyable (and also reminds me of a popular and much more expensive French perfume). Of the musks I've used from AKAF, this is the most overtly masculine so far. A deep, woody musk that reminds one of rainforests and resins. Why do I put those two together? Because that's the impression I get -- damp aromatic woods mixed with resins, flowers, and a touch of musk. And you can easily pick out some of the notes here. AKAF's fondness for honey is evident, as is mint, which adds a touch of freshness on the top. The sandalwood note is also evident, but it isn't as deep and buttery as in Islamabad, for instance, and it reminded me of some cheaper perfume oils I've smelled, which worried me. But what separates Imperial Asiatic Musk from those is how well it's blended. This is glorious on the skin after it opens up. The floral notes mix with the wood in the heart, and a bit of amber smooths everything out. Any harsh edges of the perfume are eliminated, and it becomes a beautiful, fresh, woody scent that probably everyone will enjoy. While women can certainly wear this, I believe men in particular will appreciate it most. It's also rather projecting, so only a little is needed.
